VIDEO CLIPS

This section will enable students to see how their examples of business thinking and enterprise in the real world through video clips from  and samples from shows such as Dragon's Den and The Apprentice. Students will be encouraged to watch these clips as part of their Enterprise module and keep the concepts discussed in their minds as they move through the course.
See below a list of 10 of the most bizarre or strange business ideas that have yielded millions in profit over the year. It goes to prove that thinking outside the box can help you make millions in the long run
See below an example of a sales pitch that won investment in Dragons Den. Look at the professionalism in the pitch in being prepared and using the sample to explain the benefits of the product. Also note the use of business key words such as 'investment', 'marketing', and 'partnership' that are relevant to successful business enterprises.
This clip shows the importance of proper delegation in teams and working together as a group. It shows how communication is important for leadership and having group consensus in making decisions. The group did not make good decisions or communicate properly. This clip is good because it uses facts and figures to show the profit margins and mistakes made by the group. One person will then be fired for their role in the decision making in selling in the markets. It sows the importance of thinking clearly when making business decisions in a competitive business market.
