The European Union
In this section, students will be looking at the EU and in particular its 6 Institutions. Students will need to know information about each, as well as how decisions are made by these EU bodies.
We will then examine the various policies in the EU such as CAP and CFP and how they impact the countries of the EU and in particular Ireland.
Finally, we will look at the Euro and single European Market, and focus on its significance for Ireland.
