Your Consumer Rights
In this section, students will cover the two main legal acts that protect us as consumers: The Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980, and The Consumer Protection Act 2007. We will look at how it is vital for us as wise consumers to be aware of these acts when thinking about buying goods and services.
Students will also learn the steps for when complaining about faulty goods and services, including how to write a formal Letter of Complaint, and who to contact if their needs and rights are not being met.
